Weanie Beans was set up by Adeline in 2007 with the aim of bringing good coffee to the streets of West London. It started as a coffee stall, but Adeline soon had to get another bespoke coffee cart and hire baristas to help out. Nearly a decade later they’ve got their own purpose-built roastery (complete with 15kg roaster!) in North London and a café (Heirloom) in Buckinghamshire! Their coffee can also be found in some of the best cafés and restaurants in the UK, such as Look Mum No Hands! and Jose Pizzarro.
Weanie Beans take social responsibility very seriously. All their coffee is direct trade or fair trade and they are Rainforest Alliance certified, meaning that for every kilogram of coffee bought, a percentage goes back to the farmers or co-operative who produced it. They also keep their carbon footprint low by making deliveries to London-based customers by bicycle.
You can find out more about each coffee and each estate on the product sheets. Suppliers provide traceability for the coffee so it can always be linked back to the farm where it was grown and harvested. This means that Weanie Beans know the full journey, from tree to cup!
Coffee is roasted in small batches, creating delicious blends and bringing out the very best each coffee has to offer. With an ever-evolving range, and buying only the best coffee each season, Weanie Beans are dedicated to producing awesome coffee for their happy customers around the world.
